miniZ a new fast and friendly Equihash <144,5> miner

At 1080ti there was a nearly 5% performance improvement!!

In previous versions, the stack overflow error was reduced, but it was still quite common, so I was running the “error detection - kill - restart” script code together.

Thank you for always updating this update!

Hi ssong,

It is great to know you had a nice performance improvement.

It is hard to understand what can be causing the crash. Sorry about this.
Can you post here the miniZ log output right before this happens? You can just copy this information from the logfile and paste it here.

Thanks!
Cheers

Fantastic job Batataverde! Your new version at least equals if not maybe just a bit of a better performance than Gminer.
Check out my GTX1060 with Oc settings

Hi MentalNomad,
thanks for your message.

We think that there are a few GPUs that may be able to improve a little more.
We will continue to check it out, but it is true that it’s getting more difficult to improve.

Hi Blackbox,

thanks for the feedback!

Have you tried to use --oc1 or --oc2?

Let us know if this improves speed for your 1060 6B.

I will have to try… Thank you!

There seems to be a problem with miniz.ch right now.

unable to access the website with a security error warning.

It seems to require prompt action.

Thank you

Can I use your program with z9mini for equi144,5 btg mining?
Thank you

Hi ssong,
Thank you for your message.
Fortunately we noticed this at the time, and fixed it. It was being wrongly marked as harmfull.
All is fine now.

Hi SanBox,
You can only use miniZ for cuda mining with NVIDIA GPUs.
Thank you for asking and welcome to the forum.
